Since graduating with a Distinction from the International Boatbuilding Training College in 2014, and attaining a Level 3 City and Guilds Diploma in Boatbuilding, I have until recently been working in the marine industry. Working on four large and differing boat restoration projects, as well as seasonal maintenance works has given me a wealth of experience in many different areas, including: fit out, planking, deck-laying and custom made pieces both on deck and internal. During this time, it became apparent that my skills lie within the woodwork and joinery aspects of boatbuilding, which in turn led to the establishment of Grapes Joinery Ltd.
